Ironman Extreme
Check out www.nxtri.com. It's the site for the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon. American Tim DeBoom won it this year. It's basically an Ironman distance race (although they added distance to the bike leg this year) with next to no formal support and a mountain climb at the end. He did it in over 11 hours, the female winner in about 13-plus. UNBELIEVABLE.

I bet all those Scandanavian athletes were pisssssssed...check out the names of the finishers.
