Baggo Tourney To Stop MS Wrap up.

There's something warm + fuzzy about an Autumn, backyard party w/ good ppl, crisp autumn air, a keg of Birch beer, or something like that,.

For sure was having flashbacks of PSU + tailgaiting.

Thanks + great job Ms KarmaStrider Rachel Spoonhower. for bringing together a fun bunch for a baggo tournament fund raiser to help Stop MS.

Thanks to the many members of the Bryn Mawr running club + all otghers.  An event is really only as good as the guests who are there.  There…

Calling out to all past, present, and future Ironman Lake Placid people

Everyone in our country is aware of the devastation along the eastern seaboard caused by the recent hurricane Irene. What you may not be aware of is the destruction caused hundreds of miles inland, in the Adirondack region. The Ausable River flooded at historic levels causing many bridges and roads to be washed out. Keene and Keene Valley were some of the worst hit areas with many houses and business damaged. The Keene Fire Co lost half of its…

A few training scheds

Here are a few training schedules that I have used along the way.

You will simply need to adjust timing backwards from event date.

As each athlete is unique, it is always a good idea to consult a trusted coach for peace of mind and a custom tailored plan.  There are, however some good free resources as coaches, although worthy, usually cost $.

10 week first time half marathon sched.…

Good Karma Double Thumbs up. Main Line Cycles.

Today I found myself driving a van loaded w/ Karma Food and MyTriTraining goodies, to the Team Triumph 2010 kickoff expo. Very excited to see many friends and exhibit the site as well as to sample out a fresh batch of Karma Food. Today was Orzo, Abf Chicken, and Hearty vegetable medley.

Unfortunately, today was the day that this particular van was to goto that big junkyard in the sky. That's right, it died. Luckily I was right across the street from the newly opened Main Line Cycles… Continue

KarmaStriders Philadelphia marathon 09'. Well done.

Apparently mother nature felt just awful for her icy, frigid behavior at the 08' Philly marathon, as she dealt out a picture perfect day for 09'.

Up before the crack of dawn and off to set up our tent, I was eager to see the team before the 7am starting gum. We had all trained hard and long for this day. Many Striders ready to face a personal first, some looking for that PR or, that elusive Boston qualifying time, and some just getting the lead out and supporting fellow… Continue
