Benefits of 3-day fast.
It's really not that bad after the first two waves of hunger day 1.
1 - Quick Positive willpower win.
especially necessary as I am still unable to train.
2 - Cleanse systems. (only detox tea w/ honey in the am,)
3 - Strengthen immune system.
The body spends much energy operating all systems regularly. The energy normally spent on the digestive systems etc. goes toward rebuilding immune system.
(I forget where I learned this. But it's valid.)
4 - Shrink stomach.
(Will be full more quickly afterwards.)
5 - Stem the tide.
As I have not been eating quite properly AND not training, this will 'etch-a-sketch' my intake of late and allow for a fresh start of intake.
6 - Time + $ found.
It's pretty enlightening when you realize how much time and $ we spend around food and eating. :)
