The Disposable Heroes Project

Whats up MyTri folks.  Hopefully everybody is well into their training plans for the year and having fun.  For me, i am training for my first 140.6 and things are goin pretty well.  In early March, i locked up the brakes and wound up with a dislocated shoulder which sidelined me (sort of) for a week or two.  as i mounted my comeback, i was struck with gratitude for the ability just to participate.  over the past few years, i have joined with Paul in fundraising for the MS society through his…

Eagleman 70.3

theres no better way to kick off a 70.3 than waking up in a dingy hotel room at 4:50am with paul goldstone. we drove down on saturday for the pre-race registration and bike racking, and got in a little ride, run, and swim at the venue.  the water was a little bit choppy saturday but my nerves were calmed by getting in there before the race start.  i had been nervous about a no-wetsuit 1.2 in the river but felt confident after getting out there.  its more like a bay than a river and, if there…

Pittsburgh ? Isn't that new ? My friend Chris Moy. He's here on MTT and is a USA-triathlon official. Good guy. you should friend him and ask him about it.
