Running in Portland

Running in Oregon is amazing! I went on a 5 mile run yesterday. It was crisp and fresh. It was the most amazing run. I have been in the gym quite a bit, since it rains everyday in winter. It was a treat to have a great run day!

Question on Marathon Training

Hello All! I am training for the Portland Marathon!

I have a question. The day before my long runs I would run a few miles and after long runs I used to take a day off. With my new training plan I take the day before off long run days. Which day is more effective to take off (before or after long runs)?
