KarmaStriders 2011 registration. Up and Running.

 

'I run to stop MS' WORLD WIDE !!!

After some fancy footwork this week with the good people at the NMSS, 2012 'I Run ' registration is open for business. With a few events already under our belts this year, 2012 is setting up to  be a strong year.  
-Gear order will be placed early this year so be sure to get in + save your gear.

hey everyone, i have 2 race reports to report on veterans day weekend i ran the first freedom half marathon in norfolk va and i ran a 1;25;14 and finshed 7th overall this last weekend ran the Santa 10 mile in Va Beach in a time of 1:03;30 and finshed 2nd overall masters, i have been doing this after the doctors told me i should not be walking right now, but i am only getting faster!!!!! move forward!!!

I agree fantastic job.  Thomas is truly an inspiration.  I am in awe of his abilities.  The times he is running in these races is unbelievable without MS let alone with the disease.

Race update ran the baystate Marathon last week up in Lowell mass, very nice race a little hilly and it was very windy but I knocked it out went out great hit mile 18 and my body started to shut down on me agian, i fought throgh it for a 3:09 and a boston Qualifying time by 6 minutes very happy and i am still so emotional did not think after i was told almost 4 years ago i had MS that i would be here today!!!!

Race update, Ran the Virginia Beach rock and roll Half Marathon last weekend with a PR of 1:26:42 118th overall and 6th in age group, even when my body was given me some trouble and had to stop a couple times, darn MS still got the Job done!!!!!

Just wanted to share This last weekend June18th-19th I was on Ultra Relay team of 6 runners that competed in a 200 mile relay from the top of Vermont to the bottom we finished in 23 hours and 40 minutes my 6 legs totaled 33 hours and average pace 7:08 my team which is from virgina beach took first place, i had my MS striders hat on during race and some others runners,ask up about MS was amazed that i was actually doing this and now want to fight MS as we do.
