so far so good.  im down about 5 lbs since january 1.  this is base 2, week 3 for me.  im still doing long bike training on saturday (on the trainer until it warms up) and long runs on sunday.  these are about 1:30 and im averaging out at about 10:30 m/m (although my pace has been all over the place) so im covering 8 to 9 miles. ive been alternating between forbidden drive, kelley, and random routes from fishtown.  hit me up if you want to join me for sunday runs, walks in the park, or quiet evenings at home.

No Iron-training for me, but I am starting to think more seriously about BroadStreet, (1st "official" training run this Sunday)...

 

Paul, how was your detox? I can't remember, was it a liquid only or just a diet change? 

it was a 3 day juice fast w/  'Heel brand detox drops' .

I cannot really give much feedback on the ;Heel' drops as I'm not sure whta I was looking for and FELT just fine. soooo,,,,

Thanks for the info, so you really felt fine on 3 days with just juice? Any sort of workouts during those days? I'm considering doing something similar to jump-start my training season, but am still hesitant. 

 

Also, the hubby is leaving for another 4 month deployment, which is a major bummer, but I will be looking for volunteer opportunities to help the weekends fly by, so please let me know of any opportunities via my new email: lucieast@gmail.com. :)

No solid food for 72 hrs. Only a little Coffee in the am + the detox drops in water as per directions.

NO TRAINING during.

Part of the process is to allow your bodies physiological focus and energy to go towards rebuilding your immune systems rather than  being used on;

- digestion

- exercise

- I am NOT a nutritionist. Just a fairly educated person who has executed a few juice fasts.
