Hi Everyone,

I am contemplating doing a sprint tri. I started seriously running two years ago and have done quite a few half marathons and a full one in November.

I would love some feed back about how tough it was to train for the first one. If I signed up for the Marlton tri in September would that be enough time? The lady at the running store said it was. But what do you all think?

Knowing what I know of you,  No, this will not be enough of a goal for you.  You would better have an olympic distabce to shoot for. That said, do not take this sprint to lightly, and be sure to enjoy the ride and smile your face off the whole time.

Can't wait to hear about the time leading up to it.

Lots of good little pointers to be shared.

Really, it's the little points that get you through.

that is plenty of time. you can learn to swim from scratch in that time. for some generic training plans check trinewbies.com, beginnertriathlete.com and trifuel.com for ideas what is involved in training.  you can do this.

Thanks so much, I will check these sites out!!!!
